- Connected kW = sum of quantity × running watts ÷ 1,000.
- Daily kWh = sum of connected kW per row × daily hours.
- Extra starting kW = largest row’s connected kW × (starting multiplier − 1). Only the largest row starts while others run.
- Generator screening kVA = (connected kW + extra starting kW) ÷ assumed power factor × (1 + headroom).
- Solar kWp = daily kWh ÷ (peak sun hours × total yield factor). Panel count is rounded up.
- Hybrid continuous inverter target = connected kW × (1 + headroom). Starting peak is checked separately against the inverter’s surge duration.
- Nominal battery kWh = connected kW × backup hours ÷ (usable share × battery-to-AC efficiency).
Generator estimates do not model starting power factor or voltage dip. Solar estimates do not model roof geometry or weather. Hybrid results do not establish compatibility, safe integration or recharge availability. LYTH NCM modules need a designed battery system; this calculator does not select a module configuration.
